Wendy Bennett

Wendy has been an Advocate at Advocare for the past 4 years. She has worked in the aged care sector for the past 16 years. Prior to this Wendy worked in the community sector, including an extensive period as a crisis telephone worker.

Advocare’s mission is to provide an independent voice on behalf of older people, informing service delivery and influencing practice.

As an independent not-for-profit organisation they provide a range of services especially designed to assist seniors and their families and carers.

They work with the sector to increase the understanding of the rights of older members in the community, commission research, and provide submissions to policy and law reviews that concern elders.
